We want you to be happy with your Crafty Kooka product. If there is a problem with your order, please let us know so that we may work with you to fix it. If you are dissatisfied with an item, we will gladly replace the item, exchange it, or refund your purchase price once we receive the item in its original condition. PLEASE CONTACT US WITHIN 7 DAYS OF ANY PROBLEMS.

Small scale Cottage Industry Crafters are very welcome to make and re-sell the finished soft toy,
if you follow the terms and conditions:
1- Each individual person making a Crafty Kooka soft toy should buy their own pattern.
2 --The sewing pattern cannot be shared, re-sold or forwarded to anyone, or reproduced in any way. By doing this
you are engaging in theft.
3- You are not allowed to make design modifications to the patterns or alter it in any way but are welcome to
enlarge/decrease as needed as well as using your own creativity when creating the eyes, smiles, noses and final
4- You are not allowed to modify a pattern and then claim it as original work that you have designed.
You are not allowed to use parts of a pattern (eg arms, legs, torso, head) and then claim this is original work that you
You are not allowed to make patterns based on my finished design and and then claim this is original work that you
have designed. by doing any of these you are engaging in Intellectual property (IP) theft.
Derivative work (work based on an original design by me Dermot O’Grady) of any kind is not permitted unless an
agreement has been entered into with me, Dermot O’Grady, the designer.
5- You give credit to Crafty Kooka:
Online shops must clearly state a crafty kooka pattern was used and give credit, whether this is Etsy, Instagram,
facebook etc or your own company website. You should provide a link back to our store. Do this by copy and

For sales in person, please add to your label or tags stating clearly that the product was “made with a Crafty Kooka
6-We do not offer our patterns for mass production. The item must be handmade. In accordance with the terms and
conditions stated herein.
i.e. defined as, but not limited to, manufacturing large quantities of items in assembly line form.
7-You are not allowed to use name “crafty kooka” in any product title, description, tag, or listing without prior written
8-PHOTOS You are not allowed to use or copy any images or photos from our shop or website unless an

Our Photos can be used on your blog or social media site but Crafty Kooka or me, Dermot O’Grady, must be clearly

Photo or images of a finished toy made from a Crafty Kooka pattern should only be used for the purpose of

If you use our patterns for a workshop, each student will need a purchased their own copy. You must not share a

We reserve the right to make changes to this Policies page at any time without notice.

Yes, you are more than welcome to do so! We support cottage industry and only ask that you mention the product was made using a Crafty Kooka pattern - a direct link to our shop would be very much appreciated - no mass production, no passing pattern as your own, no reproduction of the pattern (partially or in full) is allowed, please do not forward pattern to anyone or share - further copywright details on the pattern
Yes, we only work with pure wool felt - we have tried different types but we feel that if you are going to spend your precious time and put all your heart into a project, you will be using the best quality materials
We source it from our European manufacturers that have provided us with EN71 compliance letters, which means the product is safe to be used on baby products and toys.
Yes, our patterns can be printed on your home printer without any problems, in Europe most printers will take A4 size paper, while in the USA it seems to be letter size
It doesn't matter what size paper you are using, when you are going to print the file make sure to choose the option "do not scale", "print actual size" and choose portrait orientation
Yes, you don't have to do add seam allowance - each pattern will explain the seam allowance included - most of our patterns have 1cm seam allowance (that's about 3/8"), perfect for beginners.
We understand that not everyone has access to a printer - some of our patterns are available in the printed format, that means we printed it in our home printer using A4 paper and will post it to you

Our pdf digital files are free of charge, since we won't be sending you anything via mail - you will be able to download the files instantly after purchase confirmation
For most craft supplies (wool felt, fabric, sewing notions) we have added a flat rate to cover any purchases under 1kg as bellow:
Domestic (Ireland): EUR 7.90
UK and Europe: EUR 9.90
Rest of the World : EUR10.90
Please note if you order is over 1kg we will contact us for arrange payment before we can ship it.
Our sewing patterns are offered as digital products. Once you buy a digital product on Etsy (our pdf sewing patterns, for example) it stays available in your account.
In order to access it, you have 2 options:
--> Etsy usually sends an order confirmation email with the link to download the file - just follow the instructions there.
--> Logged on to Etsy, go to the top menu on the right where you see "You" --> "Purchases and Reviews" --> find our order and a blue "download" button will the to the right of the screen.
p.s.: please note that as far as we know, it isn't possible to download digital products from the Etsy app.
